Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Urban Kitchen collects and how we use it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Mobile number (to sign you in by OTP and update you about orders), name, email if given, delivery addresses and GSTIN if you provide one.
• Order and payment status. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partners (Razorpay / PayU); we never see or store your card number.
• Basic usage data (pages visited, device type) through cookies and analytics tools, to keep the site working and improve it.

How we use it

• To process orders, deliveries, payments, refunds and warranty help.
• To send order updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
• To send offers only if you have agreed; you can opt out any time.

Who we share it with

Only with partners who help us serve you: payment gateways, courier and delivery partners (name, phone, address), SMS and email providers, and our accountant for tax records. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires. Other data is deleted when no longer needed or when you ask us to delete your account.
